TemperChi Glass Art Studio is located in Mountain View, California. We focus on the instruction of hot glass arts and the commission of custom glass art.  We utilize oxygen-propane torches and kilns to create various works of art; functional, decorative, both.  Temperchi also offers studio-time, to those with prior experience, who would like to rent shop/equipment time to work on their own projects. Temperchi shares space with Jackie Chartier of Hellbent Metal Studios, who also offers classes, workshops, studio-time and commissioned art.

Classes are usually held on the weekends, Saturdays and Sundays, normally 10am to 4pm.  This includes lunch break.  We have indoor and outdoor teaching/working areas.  Cotton blend clothing, denim, duck, canvas, leather, hemp,etc. make the better work outfits.  something you don't mind getting dirty.  No synthetics, polyesters, rayons, etc.  Tools, supplies, material, and safety gear provided.  Students are encouraged to bring a camera, sunscreen and perhaps a lunch.

July 11-12:  Beginning to Intermediate soft glass (coe-104) lamp-working (bead making).  Saturday & Sunday, 10am to 4pm.

Intermediate hard-glass (coe-33) torch-working-working (vessels, vases, pendants, pipes...).  Monday evenings from 5pm to 8pm for four weeks.  class will begin when enrollment minimum is met.
